TU/Whole Health Plan

 QUOTE OF THE DAY

A healthy mind, body, and spirit requires constant attention and consistent action

You may know what you want your overall health to "look like," but not how to "make it happen."

The key to getting there lies in:  Creating daily, short-term, and long-term goals, Listing the steps needed to achieve those goals, and Tracking your progress.

  1. Up early in prep to go see my mom. Devotions✔️kids off to school, head up to evaluate my mom’s situation. So grateful she continues to sound like improvement, anxious to talk to her care team and hopefully get a future plan. Grateful for good roads and Gods plan for my December( full of music obligations!) Make it a Terrific Tuesday!!

  2. Goals: Morning meditation, walk, Phoenix to vet for annual vaccinations and tackle the garage. Yesterday’s appointment was a total bust. My cardiologist joined a practice last summer and this was my first appointment there. Without notice to his existing patients, the new practice canceled our appointments, relocated, and he currently practices at a clinic 15 miles from the main office. I was so frustrated! I now have an appointment in January. Hopefully the vet goes better, although Phoenix suspects something is up and is already stressing out.

    2. Its really hard with providers now.. I miss my old PCP and my cardiologist I am always trying to get into/hope theyll take my insurance! Im sorry it was such a bist. Our health is so important but it seems harder and harder to get help from providers now! Hope the bet goes well and that Phoenix didnt get too stressed out (and you didnt have added stress!) Take care, Linda!!

  3. Worked this AM. Had a very slippery ride home but made it safely! Shoveled, salted, cleaned, and exercised indoors. Decorated my "Charlie Brown Tree" as I call it. Now relaxing under a blanket :)
Oh and Matilda had a friend this morning. I went to start up my car and there was a dog (looked like a bulldog/bulldog mix) standing at the gate to my deck lol! When I left for work 15 mins later the poor owner was still trying to get the dog off the street and into their car (it had gotten loose)

    1. So glad you made it home safely!
I feel sorry for the dog owner whose pupper got loose this morning.
Fun adventure for the pupper, not at all for the owner!
Stay wrapped in the blanket and comfy!
