TH/Whole Health Plan

  QUOTE OF THE DAY

A healthy mind, body, and spirit requires constant attention and consistent action

You may know what you want your overall health to "look like," but not how to "make it happen."

The key to getting there lies in:  Creating daily, short-term, and long-term goals, Listing the steps needed to achieve those goals, and Tracking your progress.

  1. Kind of bummed that today was the last of the health webinar: Keep the Pressure Down-DASH.
Today we reviewed what we've learned and compared food labels, made healthy swaps for favorite recipes.
The cooking demo today was a zucchini pesto pasta using wheat pasta. Locked yummy.
I encourage you to look into free online or in-person classes/webinars with your county extension office. Next month I am attending a rain barrel class and get a rain barrel for my yard. Reasonable cost of $20vfor the class and barrel.
Sending out positive vibes for Cel as she has her tooth extraction today. 🤗❤️

    1. Those county extension people are very resourceful! They ran the 4-H programs, taught nutrition, crafts, and agricultural subjects when I was young. We were very plugged in as rural community members. I dont hear much about the local office here. Will have to look them up.

    2. Thankfully the tooth is out.
Rest and hopefully not have a lot of pain.
I once had a tooth extraction that came out in 3 pieces and cost over $350 without insurance, so you're luck to have that insurance.
Matilda will make sure you get plenty of snuggles to help you feel better. 🐕‍🦺❤️
