TU/Whole Health Plan
A healthy mind, body, and spirit requires constant attention and consistent action.
You may know what you want your overall health to "look like," but not how to "make it happen."
The key to getting there lies in: Creating daily, short-term, and long-term goals, Listing the steps needed to achieve those goals, and Tracking your progress.

Hello everyone!! Happy Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteI didnt get FMLA squared away yet. Still forever on hold without an agent (im patient only to a point.. 30 mins on hold no thanks..) so sent an HR online request in as well stating I cannot get through.
Will try calling again early tomorrow since Im off.
Worked late. Got a walk in before hours of pouring rain.
Im pooped.
Long day. Forgot to hit start on dishwasher before work -_- but its about 30 mins from done now.
Matildas fed. Resting my sore legs/feet.
I also use chronometer, Linda! I love it! With all the food recalls Ive developed bad food phobias. Ive been eating more fruits than veggies (which is very opposite for me). But I try to stick to less "sugary" fruits. (My lemons, limes, grapefruit, blueberries, etc)
Ive been using no salt added canned veggies to try and still get my veggies in.
Past 25 minutes on hold and I fold!
DeleteI've tried the "call me back" feature some services offer, only to never get a call back! 😡
Best wishes getting it all sorted out Cel!
I utilize no-salt added canned veggies too:))
I need to get chickpeas! I used pinto beans in their place to make taco-seasoned rice and beans. It was ok, but not the same. Tired of the rice too. Just want chickpeas with a bit of taco seasoning in a wrap. 😀
So sorry about the FMLA Cel. Yes, the no salt veggies are great as are frozen. My gastro Dr has me on a low carb, high protein diet so a lot of times I eat 1/2 a bag of veggies at one meal with chicken or fish. Love chronometer for keeping tabs on sodium and carbs etc. I also get some free newsletters from a site called Eating Well. They have some good info on various nutrition/diet/ recipe things. They are also good about sending food recall info. Lots of good info on their website.
DeleteI also get a couple of newsletters from Eating Well!
DeleteDidn’t do a whole lot today. Had a bone density scan so no heavy exercise prior. It was too darn hot to run afterward. The results were better than last time and showed the meds I’m on are working. My niece was to be released today but needs to follow up. I hope she takes the Doctor’s advice to heart. My sister said my niece’s job offers insurance but my niece declined. I sure hope she rethinks that when open enrollment comes around. Stay safe and cool friends!
ReplyDeleteGreat that the scans showed improvement!
DeleteI hope your Niece rethinks the insurance too.
You stay cool too Friend!
