I'm heading out soon to put just enough gas to get to and back from work today. Tomorrow, a local gas station is offering .50 a gallon off, so I'll get more for my fuel budget then. 😀
Gonna go to Dollar General for chickpeas and tortillas and make taco-seasoned chickpeas and potato burrito's for a few prep meals. Also going to prep some rice, chickpea, and burger bowls.
I then plan to rest before my solo shift today.

DeleteI'm hanging in there and Monday, one of my direct, (1 of,)deposits should be in the bank.
Dollar general didn't have chickpeas so I got sweet peas to add to my gifted ingredients for several meals.

ReplyDeleteToday going up my dad and stepmoms house. Going to bring her bday card and cake. Going to stop at dollar general first and grab a fan that the employee has set aside behind the counter for me with a coupon on it (so thankful). I tried to bring my stepmom up my extra boxfan in my living room but she declined. They have no AC and only ceiling fans and a small little 6" fan on the floor. They live in a ranch they remodeled with very high ceilings and it gets very hot in there. I called the nearest Dollar general yesterday evening to see if they had fans and when the employee asked which kind I was looking for I told her ANY and why I needed a fan. So she said tell me your name I will put it behind the counter for you for tomorrow morning with a coupon on it 🙏🙏
Just hoping the visit goes well today.
Already cleaned and watered the plants.
Oh! And also grateful for the 7 whole pounds of fluid Ive flushed out in the past 2 days!
DeleteI'm sure it's a relief to have all that fluid off you! Oh my how hard it was for you just to function in your daily activities with work, etc, with the weight and pressure, and pain from all that fluid buildup! You're a true trooper Cel!

DeleteYes it has been rough working with that fluid. It was sitting on my intenstines and causing lots of pain somedays but i got through it!

DeleteFor sure your Step- Mom appreciates the fan! How miserable it was for her and your Dad without a good one with the heat waves were all experiencing.
I've got a trainer with me instead of working solo. Gives me someone to talk too. Poor guy is working a double though as he normally works overnight shift.
