ReplyDeleteAnother hot day here. Air temp will be 99' this afternoon with 'feels like' temps 110'.
I plan to limit outdoor activity mostly to this morning.
I had to add a box fan to the mix yesterday as the AC was struggling to keep up. The fan did help thankfully.

Good idea to stay in this afternoon in that heat! I think it will stay in the 90s here. I almost always have a fan going by 2 or 3 in the afternoon when heat is starting to peak here. Stay cool friend!

DeleteThese extra-hot temps are hard on air-conditioners as well as people, pets, and automobiles. 🥵
Thats some rough temps! We have another heat wave coming after the weekend (right now in the 80s but very humid) try to stay cool! I always add fans to my AC to help spread it around the bouse especially for the poor furbabies!

Work was a good day again! I had a lot of hard sticks and my coworkers did to that I had to help them with. (Guess its been my week for that 😂😂) but as long as people leave with successful blood draws and minimal pokes Im happy!
ReplyDeleteGrabbed my peanut after work. She dexided on a sit down lunch at a restaurant and then going back to my place to walk around the cemetery.
I had an awesome salad (with leftovers it was big! She had leftovers too with her usual pizza and less than $30 for both of us!)
The cemetery walk was a bit much for her so we didnt get the full thing in (those hills are killer and humid mid 80s its worse)
We hung out in my kitchen after and looked at dresses and tops on amazon and chit chatted.
Mom brought her out to my brothers for 4 so I could be home to take care of Matilda.
It was a really nice time!

DeleteI understand not doing the whole circuit of the hilly cemetery. Humidity always "weighs" so heavy on me that normal activities feel harder and exhausting to accomplish.
I'm sold on using floor fans with the window AC! Much more comfortable for me and the fur babes with this combo!
