FR/Whole Health Plan

Sharing the recipe I got from my health webinar yesterday, (Keeping the pressure down,) with permission and courtesy of UF.

I was connected to them through my county extension program. Check your local extension program for great resources like this to aid you in obtaining your best overall health!

I'm eager to try this recipe! Julie

 QUOTE OF THE DAY

A healthy mind, body, and spirit requires constant attention and consistent action

You may know what you want your overall health to "look like," but not how to "make it happen."

The key to getting there lies in:  Creating daily, short-term, and long-term goals, Listing the steps needed to achieve those goals, and Tracking your progress.

  1. Thanks for sharing that recipe Julie! It looks delicious. Got up and it seemed dry enough for a jog. Saw a fundraiser for our community police officer who had a stroke & a heart attack at 59. Stopped by and got a plate. It was a cheeseburger, sausage wrap, chips and a soda. Certainly not anything on any healthy diet! I ate the cheeseburger and drank the coke for lunch and put the sausage and chips away for another meal. I rarely drink any soda so the coke was a real treat! Off to do laundry & mop floors. Have a great day!

    1. Glad you were able to get out for a jog today after being stuck inside due to all that rain! Thank goodness you didn't have water issue this round! Those gutters held their own! 👏
🙏 Prayers for the Officer and his/her family. Thank you for donating much needed funds!
      Glad you liked the recipe!
      Have a Super weekend!

  2. Worked even later than usual on my late days today. We were short staffed. As usual though, we got through just fine!
I had a heavy processing morning. A lot to separate and a lot of urines to process. Hair went up and sleeves went up and got through it quickly!
Came home took out the trash and swept. Showered and fed Matilda and now finally on my couch with compression boots and a popsicle. These antibiotics are giving me headaches and bellyaches.
    Have a good evening everyone!

    1. A popsicle sounds good! I need to get some fruit pops myself.
Sorry for the headaches and bellyaches. Hopefully the antibiotic will end the infection soon so you can feel better.
      Have a Super weekend!

  3. Glad you are relaxing. Maybe the dr can prescribe something different if you need to continue those antibiotics for long. Hope you feel better soon!
