    1. Oh gosh Im sorry! Metabolism gets to be such a hard thing as we women get in our "prime years" over here! Im only 36 but Im in menopause so I feel the pain of metabolism struggles! Liquid fasts are the only tjing that seem to help me keep dropping.

    2. Well let’s get this in perspective..we’re discussing as mother-daughter age here. Me at 66. As I vent and disclose, take to heart, it’s coming! I still am seeking help/advice like on My Plate platform and am so glad us few have continued to support one another. I obviously have a LOT less time to deal with everything, nonetheless I want to be as healthy as I can.

    3. I can relate! At 58, my metabolism is definitely slower than it was in my 20's and 30's!
It's frustrating that it takes me several months to lose 5lbs, but, I can gain that much in a day or two! Even more frustrating is months of not losing/not gaining!
I'm committed to being as healthy as possible in mind, body, and spirit so I will continue making healthy food choices 80-90% of the time. I will allow myself a treat here and there. I will also keep walking and improving my strength, and I will meditate to keep even-keeled for the most part, and ask God to help me be the best me possible!
Thank you Friends for being here for me, other Friends, and for yourselves! πŸ€—♥️

    4. I feel like what I said/was aiming to say somehow got miscommunicated? Not sure. Im saying though I am only 36, i live in a menopausal body. So my body is aged 20+ yrs over what I really am. My metabolism is not a typical 36 yr old metabolism. So i feel the struggles and pains. Im always playing the "trick the metabolism" game to try and get where I want to be. Its very frustrating.
Either way I am grateful to always have you ladies to talk to!

    5. I understood you, as you stated, that you're menopausal. Sorry you can "relate":years before you should have to! ☹️
Liquid fasts are not for me though.

    6. Thank you friend. Yes i went into menopause at 26, however due to being on birth control for 4 yrs after didnt experience the symptoms until the past couple years. After my hysterectomy in 2023 things really got bad even where i developed hypothyroid. Oh the year I gained 18 lbs in some short months!! It has been a battle to get those lbs off, though I finally did. But it took much longer than how quickly they went on!
Liquid fasts are definitely not for everyone.

    7. Get it cel. I have a close friend in her early stage as well. Like Julie said, so sorry you have to deal with this any sooner than needed. We all agree how FAST you can put on and how SLOW it goes offπŸ˜–πŸ˜–πŸ˜–
