    2. Me too Julie!! Such extreme heat today, they enjoyed splashing in our plastic pools! I really DO need to find that elliptical again soon😩

    3. Splashing in a kiddie pool is an awesome way to beat the heat for the kiddos! You could always stick your feet in to cool off too!
So glad you got to be with your Grandies today! Such a blessing!

    4. It sure was a blessing!. My grandson had a wonderful first day of preschool and my granddaughter and I went shopping, baked cookies, made lunch, and played with Barbies, and painted all of her nails. She took a good nap this afternoon so much fun.!!

    5. Awww what a great time, Cindy!

  2. Well, today’s deliberate movement will be push/bag my lawn 1 1/2 hours if it dries out from all the humidity. “Feels like” 120 temps ahead today😩

    1. Please be careful mowing in the high heat & humidity Cindy! It's a combo that can really take a toll on the body and mind!
Eat hydrating foods like cucumbers and watermelon too:-)

  3. I hope you dont overheat out there, Cindy!
Today will be a rest day minus cleaning and maybe a walk in the park.
A total of about 70k steps in 4 days... im beat.

    1. I hope you get some quality rest today Celina! You need to refresh your mind, body, and spirit so that you're ready to deal with another packed ER next work shift.
COVID, FLU, and mental health crises are on the rise nation-wide.

    2. Agree, Julie!
Got the push bag mowing done this morning and there was a breeze will go out and do the rest of the riding this afternoon so won’t be as bad. had a delicious cucumber, tomato zucchini, salad for lunch !

    3. Smart choice to do the push/ bag mowing this morning and saving the riding lawn mowing for late this afternoon!
      Your lunch salad sound scrumptious!

    4. Mowing ✔️back stretches are going to feel great!

    5. No joke about covid/flu/mental health crisis. Also shingles. Sepsis. Strokes. We are getting a lot of everything! All the things!!

  4. Ended up not resting as much as i needed today. Walked almost 2 miles. Plus cleaning and errands and a lil yard work. Tomorrow is a new day.

  5. Deliberate movement will be housecleaning today!

    1. How uncanny that I am doing the same for my deliberate movement today! 😁

  6. Lawn work and some cleaning for me today!

    1. I admire you & Cindy with your mowing.
      My neighbor does mine. 😁

    2. My neighbor used to come up with his tractor and do mine til I completely fenced it off for Matilda. That was more important to me than paying him $5 to do it lol! Itd be hard to get a riding mower up over stairs and a deck πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Im glad your neighbor does yours! Fortunately mine is small and when well maintained (darn rain and surgery) it only takes about 20 mins with the reel mower!

    3. I would also place Matilda's safe containment over having someone else do the mowing. Good choice! 4-Paws award for you! πŸ•‍🦺🐾🐾🐾🐾

    4. I do love to mow our place and use the walking/bagging as a great workout. It is very rewarding to see when I complete it!

  7. Not too over the top, but deliberate movement will have to be golf today!

  8. My deliberate movement for today:
2 neighborhood walks with my precious pupper. One has been completed and she is at the door ready for another round. 😁
I will also do the 1 mile walk at home session and may do it twice as I'm feeling energized today. No coffee even:-)

    2. Well thank you! Please, don't ever leave! I need you! 🌞

    3. Hey! What about me???? *pouts feeling left out* πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

      Delete
    4. I hope you never leave either Celina! A few days away due to work or life-stuff, is understandable.
Stop pouting gal! You rock and you matter very much!

  9. Well once again, it doesn’t look like I’ll get too much “deliberate “ movement now that I have to drive to the city to get parts for my son. Busy day ahead, but will try to work in my stretches at least. Need to start back to wall/counter push-ups and elliptical!!

    1. Don't discount the "steps" you'll be making going in, around, the parts store and back to your car, and getting in and out of your vehicle also uses muscles in a deliberate way. If it didn't, we would both be camping out in the driveway:-) Every bit of physical motion we do counts!

      Delete
    2. I got in 1 mile of steps, ( per my activity watch,) running errands today. I definitely am counting it! 😁

      Delete
  10. Intentional movement will have to be vacuuming and general steps today

    ReplyDelete
  11. Hmph! Today I only got 663 steps with my quick run to Dollar General, per my activity watch. I definitely will need to get some more deliberate movement in today. First, I need to cool down in my air-conditioned bedroom. Still sweating a lot from my grocery run, unpacking the car, and putting stuff away.

    ReplyDelete
  12. You both have been killing it! My new watch is still getting used to my body so I dunno how accurate it is (it undertracked me by several thousand steps at work the other day... phone in my pants pocket vs watch)
I havent been getting tons of deliberate movement. Cleaning and moved a large AC today. Thats about it. Tomorrow Im sure Ill get some in!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I don’t see too much deliberate movement going on today as I am planning a day of total relaxation. The weather is absolutely perfect and going to heat up again, so I’m gonna take advantage of sitting on my patio listening to music and reading for a great part of the day. Soak it up girls!!

    1. Sounds awesome!
I was thinking a "lazy day" too, but, Bella has insisted on going outside 3 times, keeps wrestling with me and is keeping me active.
I guess she didn't get the memo. Can't wait until she tires out and takes a nap! Lol!

    2. Bella is a great dog to get you moving!!
