Not much for today , will stretch/walk around during road trip today!
ReplyDeleteSame here, Cindy! No road trip but only planning on some quick errands and prob a short walk and stretching today. Less time on my feet. Gotta get the fluid down.
ReplyDeleteWill stretch and head out out on a walk around this beautiful neighborhood (might even run into a deer or two!) I haven’t walked outside for a long time, but will slip a brace on and hopefully enjoy

DeleteNiagara Falls was spectacular to see in person, despite being man-made. The rainbows were heaven-sent!

DeleteWork was today and I was busy buzzing around the dept. Only being there for 8 hours got in over 11k steps. Did a load of laundry there up on 3rd floor (we are on ground level) and just lots of laps around the department in general.

DeleteSeems like I have been Cindy. Theae fluid levels arent going down and its moved into my abdomen. Im so uncomfortable today :(. Thank you! Im glad to be back to working.. even if it does make me ancious and stressed sometimes lol

DeleteHoping to do an at home work out today. Originally had planned for gym but falling behind schedule today and with my fluid levels being so bad dont want to overdo it and dont want to really even be in public with how uncomfortable I am.

Im an EDTech. So I do blood draws, EKGS, and other nursing assistant work in the emergency dept. I am going to start my pre reqs for nursing school :)

DeleteSome neighbors might think I was lost as I made the neighborhood loop several times for 2miles per my activity watch.Nope, just getting in some deliberate movement. π
ReplyDeleteThe morning was overcast so I took the opportunity to get outside before it gets too hot. Bella insisted on two strolls around the neighborhood too.We both feel better!

DeleteWell after my day of lots of down time yesterday I lost like 4 or 5 lbs of fluid. Today I walked Matilda almost 2 miles in a park and we spent some time sitting by the water. Then I bathed her when wr got home. Back.to work tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteCompleted the 1 mile walk at home session via Leslie Someone's fitness video. Also got in a neighborhood walk with Belly, and then some extra steps at Dollar General, where I went to pick up a few grocery items

DeleteYesterday at work I ended up on the desk because we had no OA. So but we were also short techs. So I was trying to work as the OA and as a tech with the nearest assignment at the same time. About 17k steps later my weight is back up to almost where it was -_- back in for 8-10hrs today. Think I better stick to 8.

ReplyDeleteI've noticed lately that I actually now stand and walk with my foot flat on the ground and not on my ankles. Huge improvement for me! My ankles aren't in a constant state of pain, which is such a blessing!
I am adding this fact to my list of "why's" for my health journey. I don't want to revert back to bad habits and lose the health benefits I've been blessed with this far. I also want to keep improving my overall health and that includes reaching for even higher levels of fitness for me. I can do it! I believe in me!

DeleteToday was lots of scrubbing and cleaning. Matilda got herself sprayed by a skunk last night when I got home from work. >_< multiple loads of laundry. Im pooped. Back to work tomorrow
