Waking to a glorious sunny Sunday! Drinking water is on my agenda today!!
ReplyDeleteGood morning everyone! It’s a great day to be alive! I had my typical breakfast, Oatmeal with Peanut Butter Kos, yum! Can’t forget to report my Coffee with Nutpods and Sucralose AND my Cherry Coke Zero!
ReplyDeleteI’ve got 2 Cherry Coke Zeros left. Then, I have 24 Coke Zero’s. Then it’s back to (caffeine free) Tea. I’ve gotten down to about 1&1/2 sodas a day. I love my Tea, but I’m really going to miss my Coke Zero.

Good morning 💞 it's supposed to be a beautiful day today we had some thunderstorms last night love the smell after it rains today I'm going to sit down by the orchard & watch family pick cherries 🍒 I sure miss not being able to do it but I'm also ok sitting with a bowl of cherries & iced tea watching them lol
ReplyDeleteGood morning! enjoy that Ella and relax! heading to church to play organ this morning and will concentrate on lots of water( feeling the salt today after I screwed up last night😩) might take the boat to the river if it’s not too windy. Make it a Super Sunday everyone!
DeleteYou guys!!! I’m sitting on my front porch and everyone walking by gives me a look like I’m an alien! Why? Because I am GREEN WITH ENVY that you have water close by to enjoy!! We were supposed to get thunderstorms last night, but nope, some sprinkles and that’s it. Supposed to get some this afternoon, but it’s stinko hot and humid, so who knows?
DeleteNot to mention Ella sitting there with her beautiful bowl of cherries while I’m eating rock hard cantaloupe that I KNEW I shouldn’t have purchased because they’re not in season yet and hence, the afore mentioned rock hardness!! :-(
WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO???!!!! No rain and hard cantaloupe!!!! Some days it’s just not worth getting out of bed…;-)
There is now a single board for "Chatting." You will find it in "Boards" which, you access by tapping on the Three Black lines, top of Blog page. Working on consolidating the other posts into single boards, and you can tap the one that interest's you most.:-)

DeleteThanks for asking about Jan. So. She went to Toronto general hospital and they took a fluid test from her abdomen and it’s good news - no metastasis, or cancel cells! So they can go ahead with the surgery to remove the tumour.
She has the best surgeon there because as a colleague said to her, “you have one shot at this”. What he meant was because the tumour is pressing on an artery and a vein, it’s going to take a steady hand and a lot of expertise to remove the tumour without having her bleed out. She has a virtual consult with the Toronto surgeon on July 6 and then the surgery will be scheduled sometime after that.

(Cindy, I thought I read that your anniversary is tomorrow. Am I losing my mind? If so, it’s a short putt!)

You don’t have to be envious anymore Rosie. Our weather is very windy and cooler today, so we did not get on the water. .

ReplyDeleteTrace, I was just out in the garden and was thinking about that young man’s family, too. One day at a time is likely the best they can do at this stage. It’s gonna take a while - not to eliminate the pain of loss, but to make it more bearable. I will send the very best thoughts.

ReplyDeleteI woke up today to a thunderstorm and then later this afternoon and evening we had some whoppers. With my fear of storms, I pace from looking out the front window and front door and then to the back patio doors. Kind of a ritual. Have my pillow, matches, candles, flashlight, weather alert radio all on hand. The radio siren goes off with every new weather alert. I think they are all over now except for a minor straggler about a half hour ago. Plenty of rain!

This takes you back to the page, and you can see your name, and the "comment" box beneath. If it's too difficult, sign in as anonymous, and put your name in your comment.
