  2. My morning is going really well! What’s happening with you? My breakfast was a bowl of Oatmeal with Peanut Butter Kos and 1/3 banana. Coffee with Sucralose and Nutpods AND a Cherry Coke Zero. I’ve got about 5 Cherry Coke Zeros left. Then I have 24 Coke Zeros and that’s it! I’m making Iced Tea now, so after my breakfast, I’m all set, I’m going to miss my Cherry Coke Zero!

What’s going on in your world today?

  4. Good morning ladies! I’m baking a carrot cake this morning, complete with cream cheese frosting! Tomorrow is our 45th wedding anniversary and our closest friends are coming for a cookout. We had carrot cake at our wedding, so it has become a once a year tradition for us!

    2. Aella, mental work is as physically exhausting as if you've run a marathon. Quickbooks, is certainly a great example of that! Best wishes as you get it all sorted out, and I'm confident that you will! Of course you should feel proud of your acomplishments at the end of the day! You're a magnificent, beautiful, insightful, intelligent,
caring, giving, loving, and much more, phenomenal person! Never forget it, or, I will put in on a label and stitch it inside all your clothes!

    3. And I’ll come over and write them backwards in black magic marker all over your body so that everytime you look in the mirror, you’ll be able to read each word!!

Gosh Ella, it does sound like you enjoy the accomplishment of your work, but I hope you’re not taking on too much. Have you considering maybe hiring someone part time? Maybe a few hours a week? Just so that you’re not shouldering the work in its entirety?
I know someone who’s looking for something for just a few hours a week. She’ll do it for minimum wage, but you have to be able to tolerate her going pantless and quite possibly eliminating a little gas now and again. ;-) LOL

  8. Here's a question - whatever happened to normal Bermuda shorts? With no cuff & not all cut off with holes & stuff? I just want a nice fitting pair of shorts that doesn't cost a fortune - is that too much to ask? Apparently I've been running around in workout clothes for so long I've forgotten what normal clothes are like & I'm not a shopper!

    1. I'm finding hard to locate what I call 'normal' styles too! I don't want pre-cut holes in my clothes, or weird hems/cuffs!
Also, why is it that when I was plus-size. All the outfits I liked were in smaller sizes, and now that I've lost a good bit of weight, it's the reverse!

  9. Happy Anniversary Kathy! Sounds like you’re going to have a grand weekend. Aella, don’t work too hard! I dealt with computer issues just trying to export my data from MyPlate. Ugh! Make time for you! Cynthia, I bought cheap elastic waist bermudas at Costco a while back, but I saw some at JC Penney’s too. Have a wonderful weekend, friends!

  10. I have to agree with the clothes shopping it has changed so much I like comfy so I live in workout clothes I even have Carhartt leggings for working outside and a cozy hoodie in winter & I'm happy...you could always move to Canada where pants are optional 😂

    3. Btw, I was laughing about the pants moment, not the struggle with clothes. I sympathize. I only wear shorts around the house. I find it just as cool, if not cooler, to wear skirts, little dresses, or light weight linen pants. Linda, Costco is a great suggestion!
